Will you stand with us in pursuit of Revival?

All this week, we are in pursuit of revival in our hearts and in our ministry and the body of Christ across the RGV and this nation. We want you to be involved and engage in prayer for revival within the body of Christ.

This week we are all focused on praying for revival, getting our hearts right before the Lord, and praying for others. Will you stand with us? Will you commit to coming to a prayer set this week?

Maybe you are not in Harlingen, Texas. Well, can you commit to praying with us during one of our sets from the privacy of your own home. Just let us know! Give us a call, email, or text and let us know what time you will be joining us!

We Must Persist! – Theresa

Persistence is the word God has been speaking to me. The Prayer Room has the fewest attendance and people give excuses of why they can’t come. We have a few faithful followers and sometimes discouragement comes in because the vision of 24/7 can’t happen until the people come. Galations 6:9: God speaks to me “Don’t give up”. I recently came across some notes from a teaching I went to and while I can’t remember who the speaker was but I wanted to share it anyway:
“A geographic place is this: as long as fullness is just somewhere in the earth, it will never become personal. We need to say, “Lord if it be Your will in this place,” and you have the place in your heart and you begin to labor for it. I believe the Lord wants to open a number of fountains of life, unprecedented, beyond what happened in Jerusalem in Acts 2. That was a temporary resting place for the Lord where He released the fullness in a geographic place in the midst of a corporate people. It’s geographic in its genesis; it breaks forth in a geographic place in the midst of a corporate people. It’s a corporate thing, not an individual thing. It’s not the man of God on the mountain breaking through; it’s a corporate people. When that fountain breaks open, the windows of heaven, the portal, the gate opens in the spirit over that geographic area, they’ll thrust forth laborers, anointed apostles and prophets, to the ends of the earth.”

I believe God has chosen Relentless House of Prayer as the geographic place. I have seen it in a vision. I feel it in my bones aka: Jeremiah. I’m saying this to all who long after Gods glory. If this speaks to you, come join us as we labor for the Shekinah glory.

In Christ,

Theresa

Vision

How many times have we lost the vision that God has given us? As I write these words, I am thinking about the vision that God has given us for this prayer room. A 24/7 altar of worship and prayer to be held in a space that needs a LOT of work. It has been 3 years since Theresa first had that vision and it can be discouraging that we still do not have full prayer sets, sometimes only being me and Candis and that room still sits empty, awaiting work to be done. However, that vision that God gave us is still sitting there in the midst of us, reminding us of what is to come, if we can only be faithful.

There are times when discouragement comes, when we cry out, Lord, when, or why, haven’t the things you decreed come about yet? When is the time for that season? Yet God says, hold on. Hold on and set the vision I gave you before you. Look at it, meditate on it, do what you can do, and then leave it to my hands.

“So he answered and said to me: “This is the Word of the Lord to Zerubbabel: Not by might, nor by power, but by My Spirit,” says the Lord of hosts.

Who are you, O great mountain? Before Zerubbabel you SHALL BECOME A PLAIN! And HE shall bring forth the capstone With shouts of Grace, Grace to it!”

 Zechariah 4:6-8

We are called to take the vision we are given from God and to keep it before us, work toward it, to wait patiently upon the Lord. So my friends, whatever your vision is, whatever work God has put in motion in you, know that there are others, working, waiting, and faithfully doing what the Lord has proclaimed, even if we can’t seem to see the details yet, we can’t see the fruit yet. Whatever God has put in our hearts, it is good, but all things come in the timing and season of God, and our mindset must be one of the Kingdom, not of humanity.

There will be things that we don’t understand, why Lord did you tell me this?, Why did You do that?, but our trust and relationship with the Lord has to be SO strong that we know that God has a plan for us, much greater than our humanity, our failings, and our desires.

Will you trust in the Lord that gave you that vision, that gave you that purpose, that created you for this time and season? Can you shout Grace, Grace to it?

Heavenly Father,

I pray peace upon all who read this. I pray that you will set a fire in their souls and rekindled the vision and purpose that you have given them in this life. Lord, help us to have that heavenly kingdom mindset and help us to set aside the things of this world. Lord, I shout Grace, Grace to this prayer room! I shout Grace, Grace to the vision and purpose that you have given me and everyone who reads this. Bless them O Lord, Bless them. Amen.

Grace to you,

Katie

Prayers and Pleas

The last few days I’ve been thinking about this scripture:

Hebrews 5: 7- 7 “While Jesus was here on earth, he offered prayers and pleadings, with a loud cry and tears, to the one who could rescue him from death. And God heard his prayers because of his deep reverence for God”

This speaks to me in that Jesus is fully God, yet he is also fully man and knew the pain he was about to endure. He could feel it before it even happened. He is God all knowing.
We can imagine the suffering he endured. But we can never fully comprehend that suffering.

We see in scripture, Jesus’ prayer life. We can glean from the passage in Hebrews that Jesus’ persistence to pray and pleadings continued even though he had to endure all the suffering. He leaned on God to get him through it all.
What I’m saying is that whatever hardship you see in front of you, even though there will be pain and suffering, The Father will help you through it. He hears your prayers and sees your tears.
Gal 6:9 “So let’s not get tired of doing what is good”. At just the right time we will reap a harvest of blessing if we don’t give up.

Blessings and a Happy Easter,

Theresa
